SCUBA DUBA DO HISTORY
Scuba Duba Doo was established in Australia in 1991 by Malachy Mc Court. The company's main objective was diver education, dive trips and tours. Since this time the company has trained some 1500 divers and has taken about the same number again for pleasure dives.
The broad client base that we enjoy ranges from Australians to Europeans, Americans to Japanese. Due to our extensive range of training materials in many languages we have the ability to service customers from many countries. Our 100% safety record is very important to us, and as such all our staff is trained in Rescue, First Aid, CPR and Oxygen delivery systems. Safety has always been our motto.
WHAT IS SCUBA
SCUBA, is an acronym standing for Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus, and has been around in one form or another since 1726. As the name suggests SCUBA enables a diver to spend extended periods of time (usually up to 30 or 45 minutes) underwater, exploring the mysteries of the aquatic world.
Currently there are more divers and would be divers than ever before. This phenomenon is due to the fact that the equipment is more user friendly and diver training is more streamlined than ever before. Not to mention the fact that costs to the diver have remained low. In addition the recent explosion in the popularity of traveling to tropical destinations has increased the numbers of potential customers. Almost anyone can be trained to dive provided they are of good health. The result is that more and more women and families are participating in diving and even taking diving into account when picking their holiday destination and resort. Diving is one of the few sports where there is no competition, the idea is simply to relax and look around and most importantly of all, to enjoy oneself.

Scuba Duba Doo is a P. M. A company {100% foreign owned}, and is the first and only completely American owned and operated diving facility in Indonesia. Malachy McCourt our president director is the highest rated instructor in Indonesia. And as of Oct. 2000 S.D.D. DIVE CENTER has been up graded to a PADI 5 STAR facility. This is the highest rating a dive center can receive.
Our diving instructors and dive masters are fully qualified, insured, and internationally recognized with over 50 years of diving experience between them.
Currently we have instructors that are fluent in English, Japanese, French, German and Dutch with the ability to organize many other languages if the need arises. Through careful staff selection the company is able to provide a service to everybody, from the notice Snorkeler to the most experienced Technical diver.
WHAT WE PROVIDE FOR OUR CUSTOMERS
Snorkeling Safari's, with an experienced guide. View the spectacular coral, fish, and plant life from the surface. Floatation devices available for those less confidant in water.
Introductory dives, no experience necessary.
Experience Scuba diving and the wonderful underwater world with our qualified instructors, and dive masters. Ideal for those with out enough time for a full open water course, or just want to experience Scuba for the first time in a safe professional environment.
Diving instruction, certification courses.
Experienced instructors offering PADI diver certification. Starting from the open water (beginner) through to instructor level.
Daily dive and snorkel trips, as well as night dives. Visit the most exiting and spectacular sites in Bali, including: Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida, Menjangan Island National Park, and Tulamben-site of the 110 Meter long WW1 ship wreck. And many more.
